Welcome,

I'm Chris, I am a pastel and coloured pencil artist based near Bristol, Somerset, UK, specialising mainly in wildlife and pet portraits.

My love of all animals started young, owning various pets from mice to horses, then continuing later in life with dogs.

During the Covid lockdown I took up pastels after discovering Jason Morgan, an amazing tutor online, through him I've really learnt so much, and I am eternally grateful as I wouldn't be where I am today with my art if it wasn't for him.

When I work on a drawing I like to try and capture each animals individuality and character in the art that I produce.
